A Journey Through the Route of the Flowers
This medium roast from Finca Miravailles in Apaneca opens with dark truffle and settles into a chocolate-coconut sweetness that sticks around. The washed Bourbon cultivar keeps the cup clean, letting those flavors come through without any muddy edges. Grown between 1,250 and 1,550 meters, the altitude gives the beans a density that shows up as a full, rounded body in every cup.
Finca Miravailles sits along El Salvador's Ruta de las Flores, a stretch of road that winds through the country's coffee-growing heartland. The route gets its name from the white coffee blossoms that cover the hillsides every May, and the farms along it have been producing some of Central America's most respected coffee for generations.
Brewing suggestions: Pull it as espresso to concentrate the truffle character, or brew it in a French press to get the full coconut-chocolate body.

Really nice to chat and get to know you
This has to be one of the best coffees I've ever had. I use a French press for my brewing. The coffee flowed out smelling amazing. Rosie, brown hue and the taste was super smooth with no bitterness when brewed correctly. I am a big fan of tea as well and this coffee reminded me of some loose leaf teas I've had. Usually I drink dark coffee but after trying this, I will be drinking this medium brew from Journey Roasters as my go to flavor.
